One of the light bulbs in my kitchen burnt out the other day. I changed it approximately 45 minutes later. That wouldn’t be impressive if it hadn’t taken me a year and a half to replace the light in my bedroom when it burnt out. Priorities.
I mentioned the other day that I’m actually going to try and drop some weight. The only way I can think to do this is by upping my cardio. I’ve been doing as much of it as I can, and then throwing in random exercises at work. I got busted the other day doing deadlifts with a box of files. Trying to explain that was fun.
Also, all this cardio is exhausting. All I want to do is sleep.
My boss picked up some premade margaritas yesterday. I love that he doesn’t discourage my love for daytime drinking.
But I mean, how could you discourage it when this is how happy it makes me? I only ever have one, but it makes me so much nicer for the rest of the day. That benefits everyone.
However, attempting a run after said margarita may not have been the best idea. I felt really good, and was doing really well until the last two kms. That was when I all of a sudden wanted to die, and it was not a good time. Note to self: Margaritas should be consumed after a run, not before. When will I learn?
The run wasn’t a total disaster though. I did have a peacock sighting, it really never gets old.
